MAX MAKES SOFTWARE

Everybody has an idea for an app and I can help make yours real

WHAT I OFFER

I have been developing apps since 2013, when an employer asked me to write a game for iOS.

Ever since then I have been working on games and personal projects, a couples therapy app, a multi-platform augmented reality SDK and two AI-powered music creation apps.

I have a lot of experience in building new features into existing code bases and refactoring less-than-ideal areas of code. I like a clean programming style that can be easily maintained and I use current technology and libraries thoughtfully. My goal is to always deliver a functional and polished product. Below are my skills in detail.

SNITZL

App development
Unity | C#

Based on the concepts I developed with the client, I created the re-launch version of the location-based app Snitzl in Unity and released it on iOS and Android.

I consulted the client in regards to development strategy (prototyping, user testing) and game design (balancing, progression design) as well as writing all the code for the project.

ABOUT ME

My name is Max, I am a programmer from Salzburg, Austria and I specialize in the development of iOS apps.

Originally a student of game programming (Bachelor of Science, Multimedia Technology, University of Applied Sciences Salzburg), I quickly gravitated towards the development of mobile apps, which I have been doing ever since.

I am a dedicated and versatile programmer who doesn't shy away from a challenge, be it on known grounds or in entirely new areas.

I spend my free time with the people I love as well as reading, writing, playing the guitar and PlayStation and listening to podcasts and strange music.

I am active in the Effective Altruism community.

KŌDO...WHAT?

The name Kōdomo (emphasis on the first syllable) combines two Japanese words:

Kōdo (コード), meaning "code" and Kodomo (子供), meaning "child".

My aim in life is to preserve a childlike wonder and curiosity.

I am fascinated by the Japanese culture and have been learning Japanese for many years.
