MAX MAKES SOFTWARE
Everybody has an idea for an app and I can help make yours real
WHAT I OFFER
I have been developing apps since 2013, when an employer asked me to write a game for iOS.
Ever since then I have been working on games and personal projects, a couples therapy app, a multi-platform augmented reality SDK and two AI-powered music creation apps.
I have a lot of experience in building new features into existing code bases and refactoring less-than-ideal areas of code. I like a clean programming style that can be easily maintained and I use current technology and libraries thoughtfully. My goal is to always deliver a functional and polished product. Below are my skills in detail.
The way to go when creating native iOS apps
Support of legacy applications and a way to use C++ on iOS
A powerful language for high-performance applications
MUSIC MAKER JAM
Further development of an existing app
Swift | Objective-C | C++
Music Maker JAM is a music creation app that can be used by anyone. I contributed code and knowledge to this project for almost 3 years. I helped with the creation of numerous features, namely the channel effects, effect recording, loop playback modifiers, reworking the harmony keyboard, incorporating a subscription model into the app, tracking of UI events and of course fixing a ton of bugs.
My name is Max, I am a programmer from Salzburg, Austria and I specialize in the development of iOS apps.
Originally a student of game programming (Bachelor of Science, Multimedia Technology, University of Applied Sciences Salzburg), I quickly gravitated towards the development of mobile apps, which I have been doing ever since.
I am a dedicated and versatile programmer who doesn't shy away from a challenge, be it on known grounds or in entirely new areas.
I spend my free time with the people I love as well as reading, writing, playing the guitar and PlayStation and listening to podcasts and strange music.
The name Kōdomo (emphasis on the first syllable) combines two Japanese words:
Kōdo (コード), meaning "code" and Kodomo (子供), meaning "child".
My aim in life is to preserve a childlike wonder and curiosity.
I am fascinated by the Japanese culture and have been learning Japanese for many years.
